Congestion Tax.... will not work

I believe that the congestion taxwill not work. 

I hear polititians saying that "Traffic jams occur mainly because road users are not confronted by the costs their travel choices impose on others, both road users (congestion) and the wider community (pollution, noise). Effectively ‘free’ road access leads to too much travel."

That is "crap" 

I go to work everyday from the Sydney city to West Pennant Hills. I need to be at work no later than 9am. This means that my shortest travel to get there before 9am is a 1hour and 27 minutes and 3 busses later.

However there is an option for 1 hour and 19 minutes, which includes 3 busses, and one train and includes getting out of my home by 6.30am and getting to work by 8am.

Then there is the options of driving. If i use the M2, takes me under 40 minutes to get to and from work. 

If i avoid the tolls by going on normal roads, it takes over one hour to get to and from work.

I currently pay the tolls by going M2 to work. I pay over $4000 a year so I can earn my salary. 

Another tax is not going to make me "PAY" for 3 busses, on top of my already paid registration, licence, street parking permit, etc... 

All it is going to achieve is..... more people paying more money to get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BACK!!

This is just a revenue creating exercise.
